Fixer, problem solver and being our wizard at making sure the balance sheets are 100% accurate; that is what motivates Nadia to come to work every morning. Nadia takes great satisfaction in streamlining processes to make her colleagues’ work lives easier. In South Africa, our associate with 24 years of working experience set up a successful construction company. Later, she worked as an accountant in the hospitality industry and for financial advisors. When her partner moved to the Netherlands for work, Nadia and her son decided to join. "At first I was a bit tense about working in accounting again, because the Dutch accounting system is totally different," she says modestly. "But when they were hiring at Holthaus, I took the plunge. I enter debtors, upload budgets and take care of all the invoicing. Nadia is not only our invoicing master, but dedicates time to train new employees on RADAR and ensures they feel welcome in the team. In her spare time, Nadia likes to cook up a curry, spend her time with her family and dogs, and organises a braai whenever possible.
