Socially aware

"Numbers are my joy and life," says Duaa, our associate, who grew up in an accounting family in Damascus. "I like the regularity that numbers offer," she continues enthusiastically. "For me, it’s very satisfying to reach the right result step by step." Her place within Holthaus feels like a warm blanket to her. "My colleagues support me and I get all the space I need to develop myself." Duaa likes to divide her free time between her husband and her daughter Mila. She also runs a Facebook group for newcomers; mothers who can use some help to find the way for their children in the Netherlands. "Getting everything organised can be a challenge. But with a time management diploma under my belt, I sometimes even have an hour left to read a book."
